On Sunday my wife watched 'Love Actually' , and i was in the room so i started to watch it . I found myself enjoying it
It was funny and touching :o:o

Are there any films you have found yourself watching , that are out of your usual comfort zone , that you enjoyed?

High School Musical 1-3
Camp Rock
Aquamarine
Clueless
Enchanted

And Twilight, but I'm slowly accepting the fact that I'm a Twi-guy!

I'd like to add that I'm a 17 year old guy, enough said. :p

The one that springs to mind is 'High School Musical'. Cringeworthy stuff really but I watched it happily enough.

I wouldn't necessarily want to see it again but when the sequels turn up on TV I'll probably check them out.

Both excellent films, as is Mean Girls, which someone mentioned also.

People really have strange ideas about films they're not supposed to enjoy.

Definitely High School Musical, because of...

a) Zac Efron
b) Its unintentional hilarity
c) Its occasional intentional hilarity
d) The songs
e) Its genuinity... it doesn't try to be anything but a stupid, cheesey, story, and it does it so well :D

Yep, I'll plead guilty to that one too. I even found myself singing along to it. :o Always had a soft spot for Drew Barrymore.

Coyote Ugly is also a guilty pleasure.

I also love all of those cheesy disaster movies - Deep Impact, Armageddon, Day After Tomorrow. Haven't seen 2012 yet but I'm sure I'm going to find it hilariously bad - but in a good way.

17 Again. ONly went to see it cause we had nothing to do but I'm glad I did!

Twilight and New Moon... Can't help myself!

well last i heard robert rodriguez was remaking it with his then partner rose mcgowan in the title role but since they've split, its gone, as they say round our way, chebs up on the IMDB it says its due out 2010
