Embarrassed to see GP

Does anyone else have this problem? Any tips to overcome it or stories of being put at ease?

I have had scarring in a sensitive place for as long as I can remeraber and I've finally plucked up the courage to see my GP. I am so nervous though as it's very erabarrassing and I am so scared he will refer me elsewhere...I couldn't do it!

Go with someone to support you if you can. Try not to think about it to much and just get on with it, get the person with you to give you morale support etc.
