Posting my stats is pointless b/c ISP connections vary. I can testify, however, that Plus maxs my connection at least 90% of the time. What more could I ask for? :D

when it comes to speed and sources i chalenge your emule any day, there is no way you gonna beat my speed and results, keep dreaming :P

HD=40GB for downloads.
I lost some stats files a couple of times, but the dl total should be about a terabyte or coming up to it.
Overnet doesn't give a last completed day info so it doesnt say if its prob dead or not.

you may not get single files quickly, but you'll get a bunch of them pretty much soon.

I'm meant to be on a gig dl limit a day lol, so far broke that for nearly a year.
 
Hey ..... i was just feeling a bit blue at the time of posting..... thanks for the link to emule plus info... but apart from all that in plain english what would you say are the benefits of using plus? thanx again.

why don't you just have a look around and you will see a screen shot of my speed, and any time you like we can pick a download and see who gets it faster :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

forget your stats, we want to download and are intersted in the real thing out in the filed.

in other words not what is says it will do but what it will realy do

i have emule on my pc also then can never compare every time i try them i get much more results and faster with overnet.

take a look at my screen shot its around that is my noramll avarage speed give or take 10 or 20.

now i know for a fact you are not geting that with emule :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

i tried both, emule first for a week or two, then emule plus ever since.
E+ does indeed look much better and sorting is easier, but its not just eye candy only, its got some nice features too.
 
Yeah my connection doesnt go that fast anyhow, so its not fair. Ah well.
My view on overnet is that it starts off very fast, but drops down and stays quite low. I'm sure when emule uses kademlia, it'll pick up.
Overnet's lack of features (horrible sorting, unncertain of how to connect, very little upload happening) and it's drop in speed are offputting to me.
 
like is said kidy'd bring someone with emule and dsl same speed as mine and i will beat their pants off, the rest is a waist of time, now if you guys want to be in deniel go ahead :lol: :lol: :lol: your life you decide how you want to waist it

bla bla bla bla i don't have that great of a speed either, i'm on dsl, and if you rather have features than speed i guess go ahead, but to tell you the truth, i thing most of us use p2p for file sharing and we want our files as soon as possible and are not too much worried about the rest, any how like is said i put my overnet against any body with emule or edonkey :lol: :lol: :lol:

so lets say i wanted high download speed at a constant, instead of queing for a while, which mod would i need, or is there one out there to be able to do this. if not then what mods have i have an option of using? and what are there capable of doing.......
