email plan question...

I have the $19.99 for email and internet plan for BB--I use my personal emails on the phone--would I be able to add my work email (has company name) with the plan or need to switch to the higher priced plan. I have asked TMO and perhaps it is me, but I have never been able to truly understand the difference. Is anyone able to provide a very simple description? Thanks in advance!
 
Is work email on BES? If it is you would need the BES plan.

if your work email is on BES you would have to subscribe to the higher priced plan, if you are unsure you should contact your it dptmnt, they should be able to tell you that info..
 
It depends on what type of email it is. If I were you I would try to add the email address on your BB or you can add it thru my.t-mobile.com You may need to know the incoming and outgoing server information for them. I have email addresses thru college and work and I was able to get them to work. I would try that and then if that doesn't work then talk to the IT person where you work that would know how to help you.

You only need the higher plan (BES) if your company is running a Blackberry Enterprise Serve (BES).
