It may be because it was orginally an Alltel phone. The software is not the same as Verizon. Plus, the Motorola phones I have messed with on the Verizon network have been different than just about any of the other phones. You have to save the ringtone as a sound and then it will not accept the song name so you have to erase the title and then apply a number like 14 to it. Then it will save the song as a ringtone. You might try also to forward the ringtone from your phone to hers. It might get there that way. Then try the save as sound way.

Forwarding the texts worked for her phone. Another question though about the Ringtone maker. How do I remove the song from the list when I get done making it into a ringtone? When I add a ringtone it tries to mis the 2 songs together. I always have to close the program out and restarted again to make another ringtone.

Closing Magix after creating a ringtone and then reopening it is the only way to make another one. I called their customer service and they said that was the only way. Each time you close it, it has a pop up that wants you to buy the full blown version. Always click on "no thanks". I have now had the trial version for 7 months. Over 100 ringtones made.

I was wondering how to do this on a casio g'zone? If so will I be able to play it from the my music that is accessible with the side buttons and the phone closed?
