So I'm wanting to become an elementary education teacher once I get to college. I'm a senior in high school right now and I got an offer from my aunt who is over a christian academy and also teaches there to come help out with the kids and help her as well. Would this be a good idea to do this? What i mean is would this look good to colleges? I heard you have to have so many volunteer hours and I thought this could be a good way to get them. What kind of proof would I need to get to show colleges that I did this? She mentioned something about writing me a Letter of Recommendation. Would that be what I need? Please give me any help that you can. Just tell me everything that you know about this. Please and Thank You.
