Negative feedback is always needed in sound amplifier to reduce the distortion and make the frequency reponse more FLAT in gain. But negative feedback reduces the gain of amplifier. But we do not want positive feedback happen in sound amplifier,because it becomes a sound oscillor produce high pitch of single audio signal.
