I am building a ferrofluid sculpture for a project and i realize i need to use an electromagnet to make this happen. I want to be able to turn up and down the power put in, so i need an AC to DC rectifier to do this. My question is what size electromagnet is needed to properly pull the ferrofluid up my iron "sculpture"?
