Electrical problems with a 92 ford taurus?

hi, my check engine light has been coming on and off for a awhile now, but recently its been blinking on and off and progressively getting worse, now the battery light comes on and off every time i hit the gas. the window buttons sometimes stop working and the door lock on the driver don't work.

is there any way some one can pinpoint the problem for me and give me advice??

P.S. im broke so i cant afford a mechanic so options would be nice :)
 
that is without a doubt the worst car you could ever own sorry....i used to have one and it was a money pit. i guess you could go to pull apart and do a self fix??? thats what i started doing toward the end of owning mine...

I agree w/ Hollywood. Sounds like an alternator. Do the headlights ever flash? Also could be a bad relay in your relay box. That is an enclosed black plastic (probably) box next behind the engine on the left or right side. Take your car to advance auto parts and they will test it for free.
