Electrical problem with my 2001 Honda?

Electric door locks, dome lights when door is open, buzzers on lights left on, and key left in won't work. Brake light stays on. Air conditioner compresser won't go on. It all happened at the same time. just after a transmission repair. Please help.

your multiplex control unit is toast. the door locks, warning buzzer, dome light (and anything else that uses a timer function) as well sas the brake fluid warning light (brake light) and blower motor fan are all controlled by the multiplex control unit. if the blower motor fan doesn't work the air conditioning won't engage the compressor hence your air conditioning compressor isn't working.

I've seen the multiplex get fried by shops that install aftermarket stereos and let a hot wire touch ground. if it happend while the car was in the shop then I'd let them pay for it. if it happened sometime after then it is most likely a separate failure.

you'll need to replace the multiplex control unit to fix everything
