J javelin1973401 Guest Oct 31, 2008 #2 since it's both gauges and they are on separate systems I would suspect a grounding issue as well.
S Speedbuggy43 Guest Oct 31, 2008 #3 There is a ground screw that grounds the back of the instrument cluster. That may have some rust or corrosion build up. Does the dash lights work, and do they seem dim,. If they do, I would try the grounding screw/wire.
