I'm interested in converting my old mountain bike into one of those front wheel drive electric assist bikes. What is the ideal bike to fit this attachment to>? Are old heavy mountain bikes with wide front forks ideal for the conversion? Any experience with these front wheel drive kits?
Sex hair> I like the idea of electric better than gasoline, but that seems pretty cool too. There are taxes, regulations and licensing issues with the gas jobs aroud here. Bike paths will allow hybrid electrics but not gas jobs. I'd like to one day have both. I wonder if alcohol would be a viable fuel source for the fuel burner types. My 'water' bottle probably has enough energy in it to get me half way to Milwaukee! Thanks
