Electric Field due to line of charge HELP!?

Two parallel nonconducting rings have a central axes along a common line. Ring 1 has uniform charge q1 and radius R; ring 2 has uniform charge q2 and radius 4R. The rings are separated by distance d=3.00R. The net electric field at a point P on the common line ( between ring 1 and ring 2 but not in the middle) at distance R from ring 1, is zero. What is the ratio q1/q2?

(Please show me how you do this and not just the answer, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you in advance)
