I have had some financial difficulties of late and have this family friend who has helped me out twice in the last month. He is 90 years old. I believe his kids have found the checks and I heard today that they are going to the county attorney next week and take the bank statements for them to check on. Can they get me for elder abuse since that he wrote the checks out and gave them to me?
