We are having a class debate about which president is more influential. We are doing President Franklin Roosevelt and are debating against President Eisenhower. I am having a very hard time researching and would appreciate any help that could be given. Thank you :)

The biggest drawback that I can think of with Eisenhower was that he liked to push interests by threatening others with nuclear destruction. Many think of Eisenhower as a great President because he kept us safe, but it's not really that he kept us safe (in fact he put us at great risk in such a tense time as the Cold War); it's just that no one called his bluff regarding whether he would drop bombs or not. Sorry that I can't be more specific. The source that I mention has some great examples if you can get a hold of it.
