My husband suffers from anxiety with slight depression with symptoms including headaches constantly, fatigue, stomach in knots, lack of sociability, even though he sleeps at night, he wakes up tired and unless he keeps very busy, he just falls asleep. The Dr. put him on the low dose of Effexor because Prozac did absolutely nothing and he was better. At first he had dizziness and he threw up and then fainted but he stuck it out and those symptoms went away. Then he went to the higher dose of Effexor and he has the worst gas, I mean something has crawled up and died inside kind of gas. He's sluggish, has a sex drive but can't sustain anything and if he can he can't climax. He says that as long as he's super busy, he's not fatiqued and he's more social now but the minute he gets home, he eats dinner and passs out. Is this all normal?
