This is for the people that loved this show!
Eek! The Cat was created by the crazy animators that goes by the names of Savage Steve Holland (Better Off Dead, How I Spent my Summer Vacation, Sabrina:TAS, director of Disney and Nickelodeon shows like Ned's Declassified and Zoey 101 and Lizzie McGuire) and Bill Kopp (Animator of The Simpsons Shorts, Director of Tom and Jerry movies, voice of Yuckie Duck, Mad Jack The Pirate, Snookums and Meat) in Septmber of 1992. Fox Children's Produtions, Savage Studios Ltd., and Nelvana produced this.
The Characters
EEK: The star of the show, was the nicest cat you ever seen. He was a chubby, purple cat who was never scared of anything (besides Sharky and Bugs). Eek would always say Kumbayh in nearly every episode (execpt Bearz N' The Hood) whenever something is wrong or he has an idea. When Eek would help somebody, he would say "It never hurts to Help", which would always felt like it was a curse, because most of the time, it DOES hurt to help (manily Sharky getting hurt). Eek would always helps others, but was never aware of helping himself. Eek's owners are Wendy Elizabeth, J.B., and Mom (Her name was not revealed at all). Eek has a beautiful girlfriend (but fat), who is pink named Annabelle, who is seen most of the time when Eek's owners are not around. He was voiced by co-creator Bill Kopp.
SHARKY The SHARKDOG: Sharky was the most twisted, the most vicously mean thing you call a pet. Sharky was Annabelle's pet, and guarddog who loved her very much as Eek does. He hated Eek very much for the first season, mainly because Eek would do something stupid accidentally to poor Sharky, like numerous times, he ruins Sharky's doghouse, and he ruins Sharky's valuable things like an ice sculpture of his not-so-secret crush Platnuim of the Patrotic Warriors in the third season finale Try Hard. He and Eek sometimes gets along whenever somethings wrong (Annabelle). He can talk, but is only understanded by Eek, Annabelle, Elmo, The Squishy Bearz, and other animals. His language sounds like foot steps when he talks. He has appeared in almost every Eek episode even if Annabelle's not around. He was voiced by sound dog effects.
ANNABELLE: The love of Eek The Cat. The beautiful, pink but fat cat that everybody loves. She had a southern accent. She, like Sharky were seen in the third episode Catsanova. Whenever Eek shows people pictures of her, they says she's fat, but Eek responds stupidly with "Really?". She would be the main reason Eek and Sharky sometimes get along. Voiced by Tawny Kitaen.
ELMO: The inept Elk. At first, He sounded like a high voice german in the first season episode The Eekcendental Tourist. He was a daredevil, who turned out to be a scardeycat, which Eek had to do his stunts and usually gets hurt. He had a little brother named Timmy. Timmy has needed all sorts of operations, like a new nose, and looking like Madonna (which is the reason why Elmo and Eek does these dangerous stunts). Elmo had all sorts of jobs, like a extremely bad doctor, the president's secret agent, host of two shows (Elmo Springer and The Elmo The Elk Show) and Eek's boss. He was voiced by co-creator Savage Steve Holland.
WENDY ELIZABETH and J.B.: Eek's owners. They are whiny, bickering, and spoiled children. They were seen in almost every Eek episode of the first season. They both torment Eek sometimes into doing stuff, like getting a language tape for Mom (even tough they didn't do anything at all). Wendy was voiced by E.G. Daily (interestingly, her name is Elizabeth, too) and J.B. was voiced by Charlie Adler.
MOM: The happy-go-lucky-mother. She is Wendy Elizabeth and J.B.'s mom. She would always listen to Spangalese tapes, translating things that were hella funny. She was voiced by Elinor Donahue.
THE SQUISHY BEARZ: The Care Bears on drugs, these bears were a popular show-in-show that was introduced in the second episode of Eek! The Cat (Bearz N' The Hood) They were enjoyed by Wendy Elizabeth and J.B., and Eek, who had to help them when they were framed by The Rat Pack. There were four bears: Kozy, who was orange voiced by E.G. Daily, who was kinda clueless and dumb. Puffy was a high voice cautious blue bear who was also kinda dumb that was voiced by Cam Clarke. Wuz Wuz was a low voiced pink bear that was kinda smart and also voiced by Cam Clarke. Pierre was the green bear that had the french accent and the smart one that had complained alot. He was voiced by Bill Kopp.
MITTENS: Eek's other friend, who's paranoid and also a cat. He's baby blue, who would complain about being in crazy adventures. He was voiced by Dan Castelleneta (the famous voice of Homer Simpson).
HANK and JIB: Two smart, and clueless scientists who both appeared in Eek! and The Terrible Thunderlizards, and voiced by Bill Kopp and Charlie Adler.
