I am eager to learn about space, which course I should prefer, whether AEROSPACE or ASTROPHYSICS ?

Note about me : I have just completed my Higher Education.

aerospace usually applies to our atmosphere, and the space just outside the earth.

astrophysics, in a basic sense, explores physics involved with planetary and stellar bodies, and the effects they have on each other, but there is much more to it than that.

I think astrophysics would help you more.

Astrophysics all the way. Aerospace is only around our little planet, if you want the cool stuff, look much further away, go for Astrophysics.

The glory days of the aerospace industry have past - the first rockets, the first satellites, the first lunar mission. Unless you find a niche in a lucky group like the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, most careers in aerospace are mundane. Perhaps a Mars mission will bring back the excitement though.

Astrophysicists are attacking some exciting problems these days. Could be fun.
