I'm researching this a bit for my girlfriend since she wants to go into teaching art. What sort of education is required? I know you would need some type of degree for art. And most likely would need some sort of education major background. What type of school is best? Four year university? Or something like an art school?
After that information I would like to know if such an education is possible to get around the Pittsburgh, PA area. I've seen colleges there that do art design..but not really the kind of thing she wants.
