EDonkey is forcing spam on me.

I lost some of edonkeys files and decided to download another copy to repair my original. I go through the install process and I come to a section where I am forced to receive spam and if I uninstall it then edonkey is uninstalled as well. They tell me that this is paying for the new update.

What do you suggest I do?

Took your advice and now I have emule. I opened it to my files and am still getting few and infrequent downloads. Any suggestions?
