editing e61 chinese text

Hello,

does anyone know how to edit the E61 chinese text files on a pc without killing them?

Specifically:
1) I can write a chinese text file on the E61
2) I can then download it to my pc and view it on my pc
3) If I edit it on my pC (and it looks fine on my pc)
and put it back onto the e61, the e61 no longer recognizes it, and
it's all squares

you need to use EXACTLY SAME coding on your computer according to your phone
but I think it's pretty likely Unicode, try to edit it with MS Word with Unicode coding
if it does not work, try either Big5 or GB2312
