After watching the trailer for the Gibson thriller, I'd recommend the BBC original series on DVD instead. No remake can possibly eclipse it: Bob Peck, Joanna Whalley and Joe Don Baker in 1980's Britain with a Clapton theme tune.
Probably one for the older generation though as I do not think post-80s kiRAB would get the references to miners, MAD, nuclear power, Trident, and Thatcher on TV.
