EDGE coverage

Can any of you T-Mobile users help me figure out how to find out where T-Mobile has EDGE support in the US and where they don't?

I'll start us off - I'm in Little Rock and I don't have it - GPRS is all I can get.

I just spent an hour on the phone with 3 different T-mobile customer support reps (they kept passing me on to someone else and they were all very nice) and none of them could come up with either an answer to that question or suggestions as to how I might get that information. Shouldn't we be able to get that info from some source?

Anyway, If you can help, chime in - I'm a slow 8100 surfer in Little Rock.

I've been all over their web site and I'm familiar with the coverage map - it's nice - but what I'm trying to find out a quality/speed issue. EDGE (the faster data rate coverage) vs. GPRS (the slower data rate coverage.)

try the usual process, resend your service books
(options> adv. options>host routing>
menu> register)

do a battery pull after you do that, wait about a minute and place battery back.

that might help
 
Tried it. No change. Thanks anyway.

My problem is not how the system is working. The problem is that there is no EDGE coverage here. I simply want to know where it is and where it isn't. Later
