I am a Finance major (in my 2nd year) and I have an interview for an internship coming up. The recruiters that I spoke with told me that I should be prepared to answer some questions about the state of the economy at the interview.
So I was wondering if anyone could help me answer these questions at an intellectual level (I don't want "It was Obama's fault" or other smart-ass answers). However, at the same time the answers should be simple enough that I can smoothly say them during the interview.
- What do you think is the problem with the economy these days?
- What do you think we need to do to get ourselves out of this economic crisis?
- What are some international economic issues that have/had an impact on the U.S. economy?
If you can think of any other relevant economic / financial information, please share it, because anything will help.
