Eclipse: Who Should Be Its Director?

The past few weeks I have read several reports about the candidates of "Eclipse" director. Apparently, the list consisted of Drew Barrymore, Chris Weitz's brother Paul Weitz and "The Orphanage" helmer Juan Antonio Bayona.

Few days back, it has been claimed that Bayona has been signed to direct this third 'Twilight' movie. But, Erik Feig of Summit Entertainment was quick to deny it, saying "we'll be meeting with three or four more other candidates before we make any decision".

Well, what do you think? Who should direct the director of "Eclipse"?
 
This is the book where Bella tries to seduce Edward and i am sure part of that includes unbuttoning his shirt, so we may get a bit of his chest but they should spruce it up a bit and have him in nothing but his boxers, now that would be hot!
 
Really? Has Summit finally confirmed it? Why I haven't hear of that? O well, if it's true then it's a good news. I personally don't want Drew to take the part. She's great as an actress, but i don't think she has what it takes to direct the flick. ;)
 
Despite the fact I didn't think The Orphanage was THAT good, I think Bayon would really bring something to this. I have a feeling someone like him wouldn't skate over the more intense parts of the book simply to vacate for the younger audience (which is definitely going to be an issue with any approach to Breaking Dawn). To be honest I'd like to see how New Moon is dealt with before I start choosing on Eclipse!
 
i agree... i think they should make them at least a 15 cert to ensure we are gonna get the action they require (Hardwick had to cut the Wallin scene to get the lesser cert!!! even though Wallin didnt exist in the book!!) ... and yes i know they are based on a childrens books, but to make the films work they are gonna have to make them juicy and more violent coz twilight lacked because of the cert..its vampires for gowRAB sake they kill things and there's blood and gore involved!!! IMO.... im hoping breaking dawn is an 18 to be honest coz i want the honeymoon scenes to be how imagined .. Rpatz naked in that water..ohhhh mamma..bring on an 18 cert!!!! lol xxx
