Ebuddy not working on nokia E71?

lately ive been using ebuddy to chat with fb friends without any prblm..so tonight i was at thw sign in for ebuddy and i hit sign in..it took for ever and it told me the log in time was taking longer than usual try again..i did and then it said something like..you need to activate your internet settings to java application...ebuddy has never done tis to me???
 
l can't sign in, they tell me l should check my username and password, that my phone may capitalize the first letter of my password, that l should press * to disable it but l have tried that but l still can't sign in
