Ebooks for heartburn

Just wondering if anyone has bought those $39 ebooks that guarantee heartburn no more . I think their scams but a friend wants to buy it. I believe iff someone suffered gerd and found a cure they wouldn't charge.....any thoughts? If anyones puchased them let me know which one and what was true/false
 
I fell for a scam for an e book on lupus, although it was $29 - not $39. It talked a lot about herbs and vitamins, and did me no good at all, but evidently there was nothing harmful in it, so I guess I was lucky there. Besides, those herbs and vitamins might indeed have worked for the writer. But I'll never buy another book like that again.
 
I agree. It might contain some generally useful information, but I doubt there are any secrets not available elsewhere.

If the book is only available electronically through the publisher, that does not speak well of the quality of the book.
