...within their rules? As many of you may know, Ebay now have a policy of "free" postage and packaging for DVDs and games. This is false economy in it's purest form, unless someone can tell me a postal service that will deliver for free?
I know about the option of adding the postage to the price of the item (taking it over the 99p free insertion limit, therefore incurring a 10p listing fee every other time) but, as is the case with DVDs the item sometimes has to be relisted many times before a buyer is sold and, if it's an item of low value anyway, your re-listing fees (plus postage and ebay fees) can add up to the amount of profit being made,... In truth, giving the item away.
A way around it I've thought about is if Ebay want to take postage out of the equation then fine,.... But the Postman is taken out of the equation too, making all items pick up only. But giving the option of posting it to them if they so wish for a fee.
Does anyone know if this would be within Ebay rules? Any thoughts or opinions greatly appreciated.
Thanks Xcaiu. Just what I need. A very long advert. You're the best *kiss kiss*
