An item I purchased was listed as "brand new", but when it arrived it was obviously VERY used.
Seller says the item was "close enough" to new and is not willing to negotiate. If I take photos, anyone who sees them will agree with me that the item was used extensively, and should not have been listed as "new".
What I'm confused about is where to file the dispute...
- Ebay Buyer Protection is one option , but the fine print seems to say that I will be responsible for return shipping to the seller if I use this method (shipping was $50, so I'm not willing to "eat" the return shipping cost).
- Paypal is another option I guess.
- Chargeback through my credit card is the third option.
Any recommendations on which method to use? I'm confident that I will win the dispute regardless - I mostly just don't want to pay the return shipping.
