I am starting an Ebay store out of Illinois. I will be catering to a niche market and I already have a list of suppliers I want to buy my inventory from. I see that they all ask for a "reseller number" in order to make orders. I tried filling out a business registration application on the Illinois department of revenue website but there was an error supposedly and it didn't go through, if that was even the right form. I want to make sure I do everything right, how should I go about getting this reseller number?
Ebay business startup help.. Resellers permit?
