EB Games... Don't I have the right to get my CASH BACK?

I went in, and bought an XBOX 360 Used from EB Games. I had it for 3 days, and got the RROD. I went in, replaced it with another, and got the RROD yet again 2 days later. I kept it in a well ventilated area, and used it for maybe 3 hours at a time... twice.

So In the past 6 days I've had to go through 2 faulty XBOX's that they sold me. Nowhere on the receipt/box for the system does it say anything about having to give me INSTORE credit, and not my cash back.

It does say this however on the back of the receipt:

"Returns and exchanges of new and pre-owned merchandise will be accepted within 14 days of purchase. Some exceptions apply. See complete details posted in store."

I called them today to tell them that I was coming to get my money back, and I was told that I could only get in store credit. As I began to say why I needed to get my money back and take my business elsewhere, I mid sentence, kid you not... got hung up on.

I have the right to my cash back, do I not? I've heard of EB Games jipping people, but I can, and should get my money back right?
