Easy diet/exercise tips to follow on a daily basis ?

Hi! im 19 yrs old .
short (5'0) and over weight, I want to lose about 50 - 60 lbs.
I need easy diet/exercise tips to follow. I go to the gym with friends sometimes but I don't have a membership so i basically have to exercise at home .
