i have a 10 gallon tank. i know its not really big but i dont want to use my other tank (29 gal) for this. i want to get convicts cuz i heard its basically just add fish and water and the magic happens. i dont want to have to transfer parent fish to another tank and all that kind of stuff. which fish can i just put in the tank and let them do what they do?? i really want to witness this. please help.

Platies and guppies are easy to breed... but they will eat the babies. They don't lay eggs, but have live young. If you want to actually see the babies I would suggest just getting a little breeding box for you tank...or have plants with good hiding spots.

guppy is your best option they all easy to breed as well, ur tank is too small for convicts IMO
