Easiest way to get into blog writing?

Have read many blogs. Most are self serving and often boring. Some show the wonder that is us. But how to start? So much to say and so little of it do I feel anyone would find interesting. Is it journaling? Is it boasting or prosyltizing? Those who do blogging please share your opinions please.
 
Blogging is a good way of jotting down our ideas....this can be done as a hobby or we can monetize the blog and earn through it.it is upto the reader who can either find it interesting,useful,boring...Some tips to get more followers are...Keep posting and updating your blogs to attract readers...make it topic specific and blog clearly and with the correct information.Do not mislead your readers.It can either be Technical,Science, or any category as such.If it is related to the recent trend then chances are there that you may get more traffic.Consider the guest comments too...through which you can increase your quality in writing.
I have a blog through the Quick blog Cast service from XnYnZ.com and I chose it from a paid service provider so that I can monetize it in my own way,sell it,avoid unwanted ads,great uptime etc.I have regular visitors and quite happy with it.
