I have ANOTHER Earth Science project that I need to pass this week and I wanted to start early. I got most of the questions through stock knowledge (since this topic wasn't discussed and was only given to us as a research project) but the others I really didn't know.
1. What can man benefit from the different ocean currents?
2. Are the ocean currents affected by global warming? How?
3. How can the ocean surface current help navigators?
4. What causes the cold current to form in the ocean near the poles?
5. What is the most abundant salt in the ocean?
6. What is the best area in the ocean to have the lowest salinity?
7. What causes the current curved to the right at the northern hemisphere?
You don't have to answer everything though. I'll keep on looking for the others if no one can help, so no pressure!
Thanks.
