i have 4 diffrent questions abboutt space and stuff...

1. what do the colors of stars tell about their life cycle?

2. how might you be able to detect a black hole?

3. what evidence do we have that galaxies rotate?

4. how is starsun alike a planet? how is it similar?

thankkss alott!!

1. A white star usually means it is in the beginning of it's life cycle. A red star means it is near the end of it's life.

2. Black holes give off huge amounts of X-rays when matter falls in. You can use X-ray telescopes to find them. Also, they can bend light from their gravity creating a gravitational lens.

3. If you look at the Andromeda Galaxy and take pictures of it about 50 years apart you will notice a slight rotation because of their massive size. Also, the center of a galaxy is the most massive part of it. The arms of matter have to orbit it or will fall straight into it.

4. A star is similar to a planet because they both have cores that can be hot. some planets do not have a hot core. They both create gravity and some planets have a magnetic field like stars.

1. if a star is yellow, like out sun, it might mean it it in the middle of its life. if its red, it might mean that its a red giant and i going to die soon, or it means that it is a middle size star, which i most likely going to die off in a supernova and become a neutron star. if the star is blue, it means it is a really hot and big star, which is most likely going to die in a supernova and turn into a black hole.
2. A black hole sucks everything in it, light, time, and many other things. it has such a strong gravitional pull that everything traveling towards it, or near it will be completely sucked in. so maybe send light and if the light disappears, it might be sucked into a black hole. also, a black hole has a super high radiation that an special radiation detector might detect it.
3. in our night sky, galaxies and stars seems to move throughout our night sky.
4. i dont get it, what's a starsun. alike and similar is the same thing.
