my gf wants to leave tmobile and switch to ATT and get the new iphone 3gs.

does anyone know how much is ETA on tmobile and is it prorated???

thanks in advance

Be careful there man. Always and I mean ALWAYS choose the carrier over the phone, otherwise you'll be paying 2 early termination fees.

I gotta say get the iphone and unlock it for tmo the at&t plans are ridiculous in price compared to tmo
think about it
99 for the unlimted plan plus internet on tmo

if you go to at&t $30 for data $20 for text so theres $50 then your voice plan is
39.99 for 450
59.99 900
79.99 for 1350
99.99 voice only
plus a 200 termination

once you hit 2 years with tmo you can have unlimited talk and text for 70 bucks
and then once you find out at&t actually sux as a service provider another $200 for terminating that plan

Amen to that!!! We are currently on month to month w/ tmo b/c when we moved into our new house, we couldn't get reception. We are definitely leaning to the appleside but in the end whoever gives the best reception for our area (vzw or att) will get our bizness

Don't forget about the Hotspot at home that tmo offers. Wifi calling should help with ur bad reception.

You actually don't need an extra service in order to be able to make calls over Wi-Fi. The HotSpot calling feature was designed to not subtract from your minutes when you went UMA and made a call. Now without that, obviously you'll still be charged for minutes, even though you're on UMA. The feature was great for those who use their cellphone as their home phone, but with the new @Home service from T-Mo for $10, it sorta took away from that.
