Trade brought corn and from Mexico way into Canada, allowing for a larger population because of the stable supply of food. Also, trade allowed horses to spread north from the Spanish settlements throughout America. Additionally trade allowed for peoples in some areas to have access to tools and food that they otherwise would not have access to.
Trade also helped to develop relationships between different tribes, meaning that it led to the alliances and feuds.
