I'm borrowing my grandpa's 2000 something Ford Ranger to go to the coast tomorrow, I have a tape adapter for my mp3 player to put into his stock deck. I tried it today and it seemed to work, except that the deck continually tries to spit out the tape. Sometimes it does it after a few seconds, other times it will play 2 or 3 songs and then spit it out. The music plays fine when the tape actually stays in the deck. I really don't want a silent 3 hour trip tomorrow, does anyone know how to fix this?
