E90 Software Situation?

Okay, I've been dying for an N95 ever since it was announced and I've stayed committed to the N95 despite the E90's launch announcement. Slowly, I'm beginning to see that the E90 is probably the better device for me.

I've done some reading and I can't seem to figure out what the software scene will be for the E90. I can assume that all current S60v3 software will run happily on the outer screen, but what about the inner screen. Will developers have to make new programs to run on that resolution? Or, is it that Symbian OS 9 has the ability to scale up any application to use whatever resolution the device can handle? That would mean a big software library from day one.

That's correct. All of the current 3rd edition apps will run on the big screen. Some games however will not run correctly. Many 3rd edition games are sized for either 240x320 which seems to be the standard, where others are sized for the N80 (and others) 352 x 416 screen. Other than that the library will have 100x the amount the previous S80s had.

Yeah...with all of it's other multimedia capabilities i'm surprised they left this feature out. I'm also surprised they didnt put in the A/V out feature as well but I guess they still want us to buy the N95 so why load it up with everything.
