E62 Slow start-up?

I just received my phone. Is it me, or does the phone take quite some time when turning on the phone. Mine takes at least 20-30 seconds or so. Also, how do I/can I change the ring tone to the voice mail alert? Also can you lower the volume on the Cingular "Raising the Bar" orange screen when I turn the phone off? Thanks
 
it is normal for a pda phone to take a minute to load, just don't turn it off. as far as the startup noises i am pretty sure that there are optoins in the phones menu to turn the sound on and off. for ringtones and stuff go into settings then profiles. if you want to change profiles once you set them hit the power key quick and pick one.
