e62 pairing with BMW Bluetooth. Help

Just picked up my '07 530xiT today and have been unable to get my Nokia e62 PDA to work.

As others have noted, the phone will pair but not transfer the phone book or actually connect.

I have a RAZR I can use, but since I have every contact in the PDA I would prefer not to have to recreate that or forward my phone each time I get in or out of the car.

I have seen similar problems on other Nokia phones. Anyone have a work-around? Since My car came off the boat last week and had Sirius installed at the dealer, I assume the software is the latest..or recent enough.

You just have to manually send over your contacts to the car, when you put the car in discovery mode, you go to the phonebook on your phone and select all contacts and send them via bluetooth to BMW ULF. This should store your numberes in the car's memory. Now just turn off the power to the car and when you restart it, they should be there!
 
I've successfully transfered all my contacts from E61 to bluetooth car stereo (rythm'n blue by Parrot). A few observations:
Cons
- Razr was doing it automatically when first paired up.
Pros
- You can choose which contact to transfer
- You get type icon (home, mobile, work) next to the #, very helpful
 
I have the same problem, although it is paired, I cannot connect to send over the contact info. Any more suggestion?

What do you mean you cannot connect? I've had no problems sending it. There is no special connection to be established. Do you use E61? If yes here is what you should do:

0. Pair the phone with your stereo.
1. Go to the first contact
2. Press and hold shift button (up arrow)
3. Move the pointing device down (thus selecting all the contacts) you'll see the check marks on the right side.
4. Once all the contacts selected press options
5. select Send
6. select via bluetooth
and here you go:
if you cannot finish it let me know what step is failing.
