Hopefully someone here can help me. I spent all of last night on different forums, here, nokia, etc and haven't found an answer. Minutes ago I just got off the phone with a tier 2 tech at nokia. I have had my E62 for a few weeks now and it has been working flawlessly. A few days ago I started noticing that "file corrupted" would show more often. I cannot install, or uninstall any themes or apps whether it is on the memory card or the phone, whether transferred via over the air, directly to card, etc. I even tried to uninstall apps that I know work for sure. Even those won't uninstall. It reaches the popup box with the remoavl progress bar then goes to "file corrupted". I know it is not corrupt because the app works perfectly. So, after seaching forums I called Nokia. Eventually got a tier 2 tech. We did a reset *#7370#. It really didn't fix anything. I was under the assumption that this would wipe the phone and bring it back to the state it was in when I first got it, you know, wipe out anything I installed, apps, pics, videos, email accounts, etc. They were all still there after the reset. They said based on my serial number it is under warranty. I am here as a last ditch effort before having to send it in. Anyone else have this problem or know of any resolution. Is there indeed a way to wipe it clean to the original state? Thanks in advance guys.
