E62 + Google Maps issue

Just wondering if this is a known bug/issue on with this handheld.

For some odd reason, when I search out an address/location on google maps, I can find it and get the little numbered red flags, but when I go to press say #1 for options, nothing happens. Infact, the map just moves up or down depending on the button I push. This goes for finding directions as well... it will trace it, but I cannot get the actual directions to show/start to work (press 3 to start etc...).

Does anyone know what the issue is?? I'm in NY now, just wishing that i could use it... Only got my e62 a few months ago, and I see that the main thread is about 130 pages deep. Sorry if this has been convered already.

You have to use the blue key in the bottom left corner in conjunction with pressing the number key. Since by default, the number key isn't really a number key, but a letter.

the worst part is that the google maps application asks me for data permissions every time i make a move. i've heard this is a e62/cingular issue. i hope someone fixes the issue. i also have the issue with opera mini on the e62. grrrrrrr!!!!!!
