E62 freezing ans VERY slow reboot

I have read that the e61/e62 has a good amount of ram and that multitasking should not be a problem. Lately my e62 has been freezing whilst browsing the internet, even if i only have that window open. So i am forced to take the battery out and when i reboot it takes minutes before it is useable. Any thoughts?

update: still freezing but now it will freeze when i take it out of standby.
