E62 constant web session time out

Im posting this from my E62 right now and I already know I will have to hit the submit message option 5-6 times to get past the "web session timed out" error I constantly get while surfing the web. Basically, anytime I keep a page idle for longer than 30 seconds or so the edge connection times out. Initially I thought this had something to do with my constant BBC connection. After deactivating that feature the result is still the same. Any ideas out there as this hasnt occured with any other v3 i've owned!

On my N80 the message is "web connection time-out", and it occurs intermittently rather than predictably. The recent firmware update didn't fix the problem. Changing the packet data connection setting from "when needed" to "when available" also doesn't help. Perhaps it's not the phone but signal interference?

Thanks for the response and that's actually what it said..."web connection time-out" As far as interference is concerned it shouldnt have an effect as this happens wherever I am......and i'm constantly on the move with work. I travel in between a radius of 30 square miles a day so i've tested it literally everywhere. hmm...this is obnoxious as it's never happened before. In fact, it doesnt happen while browsing on Media Net/Services. Just the html browser....when needed..when available...changed em all to no avail. This is why I fn hate branded/locked phones.....only the 3rd one i've owned in 3 years.

The time-out issue can't be related to branding, because my N80 is an unbranded phone. But I do have a Cingular SIM, and to take advantage of the $19.99 unlimited data plan, I must connect to the wireless.cingular.com proxy server. This may be where the problem lies. There's a discussion on this at http://forums.cingular.com/cng/search?submitted=true&q=web+connection+time-out.

i have an unlocked unbranded Nokia E61 that has been reflashed to the newest firmware available. I have gotten this message randomly and intermittently. I normally just try and click to try the page again-normally, this works after a few tries but not EVERY time. Hasn't been a real problem for me. I DO browse a LOT on my beloved E61. I wold like to say that this is a network problem but something tells me that it MAY be software...dunno at this point. If the very very few times I've gotten this error is all I can find wrong with a phone, then I'm doing well. BTW I am posting from my E61 .... Good luck greenteeth
