Just got this phone a couple hours ago and it's great. I used series 60 a couple of years ago and it was pretty good then now it's just amazing, so much better then WM or PalmOS.
I installed the Google Maps midlet and apparently cingular crippled this phone to require me to hit "allow network access" everytime a unsigned java app uses the network. My last two cingluar phones at least had a option that let you say yes for the entire session but this phone makes me hit yes everytime, so you constanly have to be hitting the button which makes the app almost unusable. Is there anyway around this? P.s. I hate cingular.
Also, anyone know if this phone charges over usb? The charging indicator does not turn on when a usb cable is plugged in so I assume the answer is no. This is pretty annoying since USB is a very conveinent way to charge things nowadays.
