I've been a very happy E61 user and I have had no issue tethering to my laptop and connecting to the internet. The issue I've recently encountered is preventing me from connecting to my corporate VPN.
After connecting to the internet using
AT+CGDCONT=,,"wap.voicestream.com" as my initialization string I then try to connect to my PPTP VPN and the connection times out with:
Error 721: The remote computer is not responding.
I know I am able to ping my VPN server but for some reason after upgrading to
2.0618.06.05 I am no longer able to connect. The logs from the firewall end seem as if they are not being passed username/password credentials (see below snippet)
I have tried using internet3.voicestream.com but to no avail.
