E61 In Air Planes -Flynet- and VOIP

I have tried several times without success to connect to the online services offered by Boeing in some aircraft, such as Connexion or Flynet. While my laptop has no problem loggin in with Username and Password, the E61 just will not.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to use the phone and make VOIP telephone calls while in the air? Who has successfully connected or is the service offered a different protocol?

1, the E61's Wifi software is sometimes quirky when not connected to a "normal" type of wifi connection, i.e. home router, public wifi (even then sometimes its quirky), a school's wifi
2, voice traffic may be banned by blocking ports, a firewall or otherwise
3, THANK GOD ITS BLOCKED ON A PLANE

Hillstrubl - thanks. I will keep trying. Not too much interested in making phone calls, I hear you, it is actually quite pleasant not to have obnoxious cell callers on the plane, but it would be good to go online and send off some emails, check emails etc.

theres a newer (better?) wifi managing program for the N80 (i'll try to find the link and repost) that works fine on the E61 (both series 60 v3), i've found it plays much nicer overall and has significantly less disconnects, if you're on Lufthansa or another Wifi enabled airline try connecting using that instead.

Yes, please, bitte,, I would much like to improve the connections. I will be on a Lufthansa this afternoon, and again in a couple of weeks
