E-70 Pricing?!

Why has the price on the E-70 steadily been falling, since it first came out even in the European version. It was $459 or more when it first hit the U.S. Now, it's only $389. Anything I should know about build quality etc.

Want to upgrade from my 6620. Debating on this or an E62, an 8525, a 6925, or another unlocked device with a camera.

I haven't had a problem with my E70. I think Nokia is about to release several new phones and that's the reason for the decrease in older phone prices.

But I'm glad they lowered the price. For $389, I can get a back up!

It's just the way prices work...before it was released, it had to be imported. As newer models are released, prices drop. I'm hoping it'll hit $200 when Nokia releases 3G versions of their phones next year. Glad I'm not the only 6620 user thinking about the E70 (the only negative I've found is there aren't any decent cases that let you use the phone while protecting most of it)...

I've learned after about 5 good leather fully protecting cases with my wife and her Treo 650 that you are better off, just buying a universal case and just being cautious while using it. Most of the customized cases where out either at the clasps or clips. Just easier to buy a universal one. Besides the customized ones usually collect and hold dirt underneath putting it on your device.
